Heres the story- Shoe Gang started in June of 2001 with Mike W on guitar, Berg on the drums, and Dan on vocals and second guitar.  We wrote some profoundly bad songs and never played them for anyone.  Victor joined on bass sometime in july.  

   After months of just fooling around and not taking the band seriously, we finally got our shit together in October of  2001 and played our first show in Victors basement.  After that, we pretty much hit the ground running, writing songs and booking shows.  These days, we're calling ourselves a melodic hardcore band.  We're influenced by H2O, Gorilla Biscuits, Most Precious Blood, Comeback Kid, Cro Mags, and an assload of other stuff.

  In April of 2003, we parted ways with Victor. Chris Cambareri was later brought up to fill his shoes.   

  Dan, Mike W. and Chris write the songs, Dan and Chris book the shows, and Berg does his thing.  Thats our deal.  Shut up.
